Every ancient civilization was sure that an underground place, Agharta , existed inside the Earth and that enormous tunnels branched out from it reaching all over the globe. Even the philosopher Plato, the mathematician Euler and the astronomer Halley believed it. The American president John Quincy Adams and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler actually funded expeditions to seek out Hollow Earth, but no one ever succeeded in proving its existence because its inhabitants had no intention of being discovered…
Stella the main character of the story is a kahuna , a little shaman whose power to communicate with animals and nature doesn’t derive from some indistinct magical origin but is the outcome of a link with a past that lets her discover the Hollow Earth and, inside it, the descendants of her ancestors who more than twelve thousand years ago came from the Pleiades constellation and settled in peace with humans on the Mu continent before it disappeared, sinking into the Pacific Ocean and fragmenting in a myriad of islands.
The author doesn’t lead the readers to an unreal and fancy world but to the current one seen with an intriguing freedom of thought that lets them live amazing adventures inside Cheops’ pyramid, in Baalbek, Angkor and on Easter Island as well as Venezuela, America and France.
This story cleverly weaves the characteristics of an adventure novel with elements of archaeology and fantasy, into a gripping read. The author is inspired by legends and mysteries and gives fascinating and unconventional explanations for them, always meticulously documented.
